The City of Texarkana, Texas in partnership with Texarkana College received a grant for $500,000 to provide training to unemployed and underemployed individuals. Students may be eligible for a stipend for classroom hours. This grant starts October 1, 2024 and will provide Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials Endorsement, HAZWOPER, HAZMAT, OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, and Forklift Operator training.
